A number of beaches and parks dot the landscape of northern Cleveland along Lake Erie, offering a variety of outdoor activities. For visitors who want a lakefront view and easy access to the waterfront, there are four hotels within a block of Lake Erie. Two are downtown close to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Browns Stadium and other popular attractions and two are in the residential community of Lakewood on the western edge of the city.
Doubletree Hotel Cleveland Downtown
The Doubletree Cleveland Downtown Lakeside Hotel (hilton.com) is just off Interstate 90 on Lakeside Avenue, overlooking the shores of Lake Erie. It is 20 minutes north of the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and one block south of Burke Lakefront Airport. Cleveland Browns Stadium, the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are all within walking distance. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to major downtown attractions and to University Circle, which is home to the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University and a number of cultural institutions. Guest rooms at the hotel feature 32-inch flat-panel TVs and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Suites also have work spaces with ergonomic chairs, jetted tubs, refrigerators, microwaves and a double sleeper sofa. An indoor pool and business center are on-site, along with a Starbucks, an American-style restaurant called Stadium Bar & Grille and a 24-hour pantry market.
