For more than 75 years, our success has been built around the mutual trust we share with our member-consumers. That’s because our members are also the owners of our electric cooperative.

Great Lakes Energy is governed by a Board of Directors that is elected by our member-owners. We were formed more than 75 years ago for the sole purpose of providing service and value to our member-owners. Today, we continue looking out for you, with eight office locations and more than 230 employees to serve the needs of our members.
