Great Salt Lake Audubon

Since 1997 GSLA has been in the process of restoring 120 acres of riparian habitat located between 11100 South and 9800 South in South Jordan, Utah. The land has been named the Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve (JRMBR, pictured above).

In January 2016, Great Salt Lake Audubon completed the Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve and donated its land to Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission (URMCC). URMCC became the sole owner and manager of the Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve. GSLA is proud of its accomplishments and its 20 year stewardship of this important property that supports important wildlife values within the watershed.
